The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will be responsible for the management of Technical Manual CD-ROM production and database systems design. They are a key component in designing, developing, and establishing data management documentation, as well as participating in design reviews, audits and CM planning. The CM Specialist will review detailed and precise technical manuals on a CD-ROM platform for the Navy (e.g. Ships, Subs, Military Watercraft, and Unmanned Systems).
|POSITION REQUIREMENTS||Basic Qualifications:|
4 years’ experience with Technical Manual (TM) configuration tracking/management concepts
1+ years’ experience bundling electronic Technical Manual files for mastering CD-ROMs
High School Diploma or GED Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge of Advanced Integrated Maintenance Support System (AIMSS) authoring tool (version 3.2x or 4.x)
Experience bundling ATIS compatible CD-ROMs Experience in setup routine design, Interactive Electronic Technical (ietm.ndx) files, and structures that are CD-ROM ATIS compatible SGML/XML/HTML Demonstrated ability to create/modify/migrate/protect complex databases/queries/reports
Ability to create/modify MS Access Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and macros
Experience using MS Project for reviewing and tracking technical documentation
Active Secret Clearance or ability to reactive a clearance held within the past 24 months.
